HACKATHON

What is a hackathon?

A hackathon is a group event where teams code together to create a project, tool, or image to completion all under a time frame. Code Simple hosts 3 hackathons per year where any student enrolled in a Code Simple program is eligible to attend. Hackathons are competitive, creative, collaborative, and fun - and you can get your friends to join too (even if they're not a part of Code Simple yet!). 

CODING RACES

What are coding races?

Teams compete with other teams to see who can beat the clock with coding assignments. Bringing in the added factor of the timed coding can help bring out the fluency in students. Collaboration and teamwork make coding races super fun. Team members may be shuffled so they have the opportunity to meet and work with other students in Code Simple as well.
